From Daycare Staff to Nurse Practitioner: Jacklyn Baker Joins CCH Walk-in Clinic Team

GILLETTE, Wyo. - May 10, 2024 - Campbell County Health is pleased to announce the addition of Jacklyn Baker, Nurse Practitioner (NP), to the Walk-in Clinic team. With a career spanning over a decade within the Campbell County Health system, Baker brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her new role.
Baker began her journey with Campbell County Health straight out of high school in 2013. Beginning her career in the CCH daycare, Baker's trajectory has been nothing short of remarkable. Her evolution within the organization saw her transition through various vital roles, including patient access in outpatient clinics and the Emergency Department, before transitioning to clinical roles in the Emergency Department and Emergency Medical Services.
"Emergency medicine and urgent care have always been my passion," Baker remarked, reflecting on her journey. Her enthusiasm for providing high-quality care in urgent and emergent situations has been a driving force throughout her career.
In her new role as a Nurse Practitioner in the Walk-in Clinic, Baker is eager to continue delivering exceptional care to patients while leveraging Campbell County Health's extensive resources.
"Having the abundant resources that CCH offers, I've got access to anything they [patients] would need. The emergency room is across the hall. Radiology is down the hall. Everything is right there, and it's great for the patients," she noted.
With her background in emergency medicine and urgent care, Baker is uniquely positioned to be a bridge between the two levels of care. She aims to provide comprehensive support to patients, ensuring they receive the appropriate care in a timely manner.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Baker enjoys spending time outdoors during the summer, traveling, and spending time with her family.
