Supporting Patient Choice at CCH Maternal-Child
- Posted On:
GILLETTE, Wyo. - Nov. 1, 2024 - Campbell County Health (CCH) is proud to provide comprehensive care for expectant mothers. We accept patients interested in a Trial of Labor After Cesarean (TOLAC) and those who choose to attempt a Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC), giving mothers greater flexibility and control over their birth plans.
At CCH, the decision to attempt a VBAC is made through shared decision-making by the patient in consultation with her obstetric provider, ensuring that each choice aligns with medical best practices and the patient’s personal preferences. Whether a patient opts for VBAC or another delivery method, our team is dedicated to providing compassionate, expert care every step of the way.
“We believe that childbirth is a deeply personal experience, and we are here to support our patients,” said Maternal-Child Manager Cass Hurley “Our team works in partnership with patients and their physicians, offering a range of options that safely align with each person’s goals during this important time.”
CCH adheres to American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) guidelines in offering TOLAC and VBAC, ensuring that our practices meet the highest standards for safety and quality. By providing this option, we empower patients with the knowledge and support they need to feel confident in their childbirth choices.
We are honored to support families across Northeast Wyoming and celebrate each birth alongside them.
