Welcome Anita Wisniewski, Bringing Full-Time Physical Therapy Service to Hulett

GILLETTE, Wyo. - Nov. 4, 2024 - Starting November 4th, Anita Wisniewski, DPT, a physical therapist with over 30 years of experience, will begin providing full-time physical therapy services at the Family Clinic Hulett. Her hours will be Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and Fridays from 8 AM to 12 PM.

The Rehab Services team from Gillette had been traveling to Hulett twice a week to meet the growing demand for physical therapy in the area. With patient numbers rapidly increasing, the need for a dedicated, full-time physical therapist became clear—and Anita was the perfect fit at the perfect time to meet that need.

Anita brings both passion and expertise to her new role in Hulett. Originally from Delaware, she discovered a love for Wyoming while visiting the state. An avid horseback rider, Anita had wanted to participate in a cattle drive, which she finally experienced on a visit to the Hulett area. During that visit, she felt drawn to the community but was unsure if there were job opportunities for her.

As fate would have it, she happened to pass by the Family Clinic Hulett and decided to call on a whim to ask about any open physical therapy positions. At the same time, the Rehab Services team was realizing the growing need for a full-time therapist in Hulett. After an application and a few interviews, Anita officially joined the team, bringing her passion for patient-centered care with her.

“People want to be listened to,” Anita explains. “And when you do, they see that you care and are compassionate about helping them get better.”

Anita holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in physical therapy. She discovered her calling early in life while working for a physical therapist in her 20s. From that moment, she knew physical therapy was the right path for her.

When she’s not helping patients, Anita enjoys horseback riding, spending time with her pets, golfing, and traveling. She recently returned from a trip to Antarctica – in other words, she is more than prepared for Wyoming winters!
