We are delighted to introduce Dr. Subashini “Su” Furman, who joins us as the Interim Radiation Oncologist for the Heptner Cancer Center at Campbell County Health.
Dr. Furman completed her residency in Radiation Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in 2007. Her path to this specialty was inspired by her desire to help critically ill patients, embrace the challenge of individualized care, and make a meaningful impact in a highly dynamic field.
Balancing her commitment to medicine with her dedication to her family, Dr. Furman found in Radiation Oncology a career that aligned with both her professional aspirations and personal priorities.
As a trailblazer, Dr. Furman broke barriers during her residency, becoming the first female resident in Radiation Oncology at Baylor in 11 years. Her determination to challenge norms and achieve her goals exemplifies her resilience and passion for excellence.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Furman enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Felix Furman, who has completed traveling assignments in the Emergency Department at CCH. They have one daughter, a beloved dog, and share a love for the outdoors. Enthusiastic adventurers, they are thrilled to be in Wyoming and embrace the natural beauty and opportunities for exploration the Midwest offers.
Please join us in giving Dr. Furman a warm welcome to the team. We are excited to have her expertise and compassionate care at the Heptner Cancer Center and look forward to the positive impact she will bring to our patients and staff.
