Clinics get Up To Speed with Meditech

A major computer upgrade starts today in several Campbell County Medical Group Clinics, including:
- Cardiology
- Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
- Kid Clinic
- Nephrology and Complex Medicine
- Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine
The remaining clinics will go on a schedule until all of them are on the same system—hopefully by July 2018.
Clinics that are working through the transition will be marked with a flag labeled Up to Speed with Meditech to help alert patients. Please be aware that patients visiting these Clinics may experience longer wait times than they’re used to when checking in and during their appointment.
Staff will be asking some additional questions during registration, and there may be some extra people supporting the registration staff and the nurses and providers. You’ll identify them by their white T-shirts, giving “at the elbow” support for the next few days.
You may even see some new faces in the Clinics during this time. Many of these individuals are members of Campbell County Health's Information Technology team, and they have been working over time to make sure this "go live" happens smoothly. CCH is grateful for all of their hard work in making this project go as smoothly as possible.
The end result will be a more integrated patient health record to improve care for our patients.
