Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County, Wyoming community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.
Introducing Sarah Gleason, a Medical Assistant (MA) in the Campbell County Medical Group Kid Clinic in Gillette, Wyoming. Sarah has been with CCH for the last year, but has been in healthcare for five years. She’s earned an Associate’s Degree in early childhood education, but has also earned an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, Medication Aide, and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She was inspired to work in healthcare when she was young. “I love helping people. The medical field gives me the best of both worlds,” she says. “As a young child, I was frequently ill, and the nurses and doctors who worked with me provided kind and compassionate care, which made me want to help other people in the future receive that same standard of care,” she says.
When she’s not working at the Kid Clinic, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family. “We have an appreciation for the outdoors and can be found doing activities such as hunting, hiking, fishing, camping, and playing with our adorable puppies!” she says.
We asked Sarah what she likes most about working for CCH and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:
“I love helping and working with children, and ensuring they are getting the care they deserve even though they can’t always verbalize what their needs are. We have a good team at the Kid Clinic, and everyone works together to coordinate care for the kids we see so both their physical and mental health needs are met.
Excellence every day, to me, means providing an excellent standard of care for our patients and having patients’ know that we will be here for them in their brightest times, and their toughest times, with knowledgeable, compassionate care. It means having patients know we will listen to their concerns, and go above and beyond to find solutions for them.”
Thank you, Sarah, for providing wonderful care to the children at the Kid Clinic. We appreciate you.
